With the Gun of the Year 2025, Krieghoff dedicates a tribute to the fascinating world of big game fishing. With impressive attention to detail, this K-80 captures the diverse beauty of the deep sea. Finest engravings depict a vibrant scene of colorful fish, corals, and other marine life, reflecting the boundless diversity and allure of the ocean.

The "Spirit of the Deep" conveys the same appreciation and passion for the creatures of the sea as hunters on land have for their prey. On the left side of the receiver, we see a school of Ahi gliding over a coral reef. Two sharks, in the shadows of the background, are searching for an opportunity to strike. The coral is inhabited by a vibrant array of fish and starfish. Particularly impressive is the depiction of light that shines down from the surface into the depths, illuminating the scene. On the right side, we see a scene that could unfold directly above. A boat with anglers aboard observes as two Blue Marlins leap from the water during their hunt for prey.

The sky appears unsettled, emphasizing the drama of survival of the fittest. On the underside of the receiver, the two worlds above and below the water’s surface are united. Above the water, an angler’s boat with a Marlin leaping from the waves; below, a vibrant coral landscape teeming with tunas, Yellow Tangs, jellyfish, and the beloved clownfish. The entire scene is framed by intertwined arabesques resembling seaweed, into which a crab with outstretched claws is intricately incorporated.On the top latch, a Blue Marlin, "The King of the Ocean" dramatically reigns, flanked by two golden octopuses. A line with a fishing hook winds around him.
